Fernandes Marine Services Ltd was founded by Captain F.G. Fernandes ( Bob) back in 1984 in Vancouver, BC, Canada, with a

view to offer a wide spectrum of marine surveys. Captain F.G. Fernandes has vast experience in marine surveying dating back to 1964.

His experience includes the position of Harbor Master, Chief Ship Planner of the Port of Singapore (PSA). In 2015, due to the heavy

expansion of marine survey work, Fernandes Marine Services Ltd entered into a partnership with Captain Sabur Ahmed and Marine Chief Engineer

Anisur R Khan of Rigel Marine Services Inc to increase the scope and volume of a variety of marine consultancy and survey work.

Captain Sabur Ahmed – Class 1 Master Mariner ( UK / Canada ), AFNI. has been providing marine consultancy, surveying, and Port Captain

services in the shipping industry for over 10 years. He holds a Class – 1 Master Mariner Certificate and is a graduate in Nautical science from

the U.K and Canada. During his seagoing carrier he has sailed on Foreign going vessels worldwide including Bulk Carriers and Container vessels

in the capacity of Master. He has worked as Marine Superintendent for a period of  over 5 years. He has also worked as container planner for

OOCL ( Canada ) in its Vancouver, B.C. office. He is also a designated Malta flag state surveyor in Vancouver, B.C. He has carried out different

P & I Club marine surveys , investigations and consultancy.

Mr. Anisur R Khan is holding a  Class -1 Marine Engineer certificate from the UK . During his long sea carrier he has participated in different

types of marine engineering surveys.
